PK Silver: Parkour = Fall Prevention for Older Adults

Beginning or no understanding of topic, Open to all
Some standing/ movement
Likely neutral
Sean will introduce the core concepts underlying PK Move’s program PK Silver, which is a fall prevention-oriented take on parkour training for older adults. He’ll talk about the growth of the program as an on-site (no gym) service, the challenges presented to this model by Covid-19, and the future of teaching parkour in this new world. There will be occasional “movement breaks” in the lecture where Sean will lead participants through one of PK Silver’s “Daily 5” - the movements we prescribe to our participants to help them build agility and awareness day-by-day to prevent falls (taken directly from “PK Silver Forever: Your Parkour Fitness Toolkit: Pandemic Edition”, our booklet available through Amazon and the Embodiment Conference (?))
