During this session, you will get acquainted with the program Journey through the Body. A curriculum that teaches children to listen to their body in playful ways and empowers them to make choices that serve their health and well-being. Through body-centered education, mindfulness, movement (games, dance, yoga), visualization exercises, and drawing, three important building blocks for a strong foundation in life are promoted: body awareness, self-awareness, and self-worth. In this session, Esther Arends, the founder of the program, will take you on a journey in which you will be experiencing the added value, power, and joy of this curriculum. Besides inspiration, you will receive practical tools to support children in their embodiment. Participants will need some drawing paper and drawing material such as crayons or pencils.
