Opening the frozen torso

Beginning or no understanding of topic, Open to all
Space and loose clothed required
Likely neutral
When we look at people walking, we can often see an area from the shoulders down to the hips that’s barely moving. I use to think of this as the frozen torso. During this session, we’re going to look at why so many of us develop stiffness in our bodies, and especially in the upper body. And how this affects our lives both on a physical and emotional level. We’re also going to do some Movingness practices to explore how we can open our torso in a gentle and caring way.
