The Art and Science of wildlife tracking is a human practice that can powerfully connect us to nature through learning to read the stories of the living world.
Every time we step outside of our door, there are myriad stories to be told of the comings-and-goings of animal in the world, and one of the oldest human capacities is to read and interpret these stories. The art and science of tracking offers an ecological window into the happenings of the living world around us. Through this session, expert educator and tracker, Marcus Reynerson, will talk about the vast world of wildlife tracking and how brining this profound skillset into our lives will help us become more engaged participants in the landscapes in which we live. Participants will learn about the broad framework of what tracking is and the way it has historically situated into the human psyche, and also walk away with some simple tips and resources to start pursuing this practice on your own.
