Claire Thompson is the internationally-published author of Mindfulness and the Natural World and The Art of Mindful Birdwatching. Through Mindfulness of Nature (www.mindfulness-of-nature.com), Claire facilitates workshops and retreats in the UK and abroad with the aim of reconnecting people with themselves and the rest of the natural world. Claire has 10 years' experience managing international nature conservation projects for the World Land Trust and BirdLife International and is now training as a Psychological Well-Being Practitioner with the NHS. To Claire, embodiment is about reconnecting with the aliveness and wisdom of our direct felt experience of primary natural homes - our bodies. Claire has an infectious passion for authenticity, deep listening and aliveness and believes that nurturing an embodied relationship with ourselves and the world around us is at the heart of creating a happier, and more peaceful world with a sustainable future.
