Leo has been teaching embodiment, movement and yoga for over 30 years and currently offers an Embodied Learning Program for movement and other therapists, yoga teachers and those interested in deepening their experience of embodiment and presence. Originally qualifying as a Yoga teacher and Psychosynthesis therapist, and later continuing his studies with movement therapy and bodywork (Body Mind Centering and Rolfing Movement), he has over the years synthesized all these elements into a holistic understanding of embodiment, developing a comprehensive method that continues to evolve. He writes articles and is now working on an experiential book about his work. His love, personal experiences and explorations with the natural world have radically influenced his view of the bodymind. At the heart of his approach is our ‘relational presence’, whether that is with other people or the rest of the natural world. The experience of this presence can guide our actions and support us re-discovering the inherent wisdom that is embedded in this relationship - what is at the core of our reciprocal agency with nature; enabling the respect and ability to recognize both the oneness and differentiated parts of this whole, and to understand and evolve our own purpose within this context.
