Liberating ourselves from trauma stored in our bodies

Let's work together on releasing some of the tension and stress we hold in our bodies. We will find where trauma stores in our bodies and what exercises we can use to release the trauma. I will share with you my personal experience of how I was able to release my guilt and anger, and enter into the space of forgiveness that healed my spinal injury. As a Palestinian, I continue to live under occupation and see many people dealing with PTSD on a daily basis. I suffered PTSD as an activist. My body didn't even get to rest from the trauma. I was always in survival mode. For that, I worked on developing methods for daily trauma release to foster more resilience in my body and find peace in my mind, in the midst of the storm. These tools are especially helpful for us in these trying times of the pandemic, to try and protect ourselves from stress and anxiety.
