Orientation; Which Way Is Down?

Beginning or no understanding of topic, Open to all
Some standing/ movement
Likely neutral
Down is the direction of the earth. If you don't know which way is down, you can't go up. It's also the direction we try to get the farthest from in life, metaphorically. There is death and darkness down there. It's the direction of falling and fear, but it is also the direction of connection, support, peace, and humility. Most people hearing this question will say, ""silly, down is that way"" and that's it. But if you really feel into the question, you may notice that each of your cells has a different experience of down that changes moment to moment as you move through life. This question can be a deep felt inquiry into the nature of space, orienting us to the cardinal directions, grounding us in the ""real world"", and reminding us of what is most meaningful. Okay so what can you expect if you participate in this workshop? Mythical storytelling Insightful movement practice Good conversation ...and whatever emerges from the Underworld
