Is movement a physical practice or a mental practice? In this case, it's both and beyond. For a 32 y/o female with no prior health complications to be diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia is considered uncommon to begin with. Having been an active fitness professional with a history in nutrition education, added to that blow. Despite the active care of physiological health, mental & emotional wellness were not prioritized. "Movement" had always been used as a coping mechanism, which took the chapter of cancer and transplant recovery to realize. This is about how movement saved my life.
