Participants will learn what forest bathing is from one the world’s leading experts. You will explore some of the benefits of the practice. You will experience several techniques used by forest therapy guides that are useful in forests and any other natural environments. Amos Clifford will talk about how to adapt these to home, garden, and workplace settings. It is recommended that participants gather a few items from nature to have with them for this workshop; for example, leaves, stones, small sticks, feathers, etc. These will be used to explore ways to connect the senses and the body to the more-than-human world. Overall you can expect an engaging and relaxing session.
