Join Diana Winston, director of mindfulness education at UCLA's Mindful Awareness Research Center, for a session on mindfulness and how it can be helpful during challenging times. Mindfulness involves paying attention to your present-moment experiences. It has scientific support as a means to reduce stress, improve attention, boost the immune system, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote health and well-being. During this program, you will learn the basics of mindfulness, try some experiential practices, and discover how you can apply it to daily life, especially to support you in these times.
