CULTIVATE: Creative Practice in the Belly of Impermanence

Beginning or no understanding of topic, Open to all

In this embodied, interdisciplinary creative practice workshop (for people of all backgrounds, identities, and levels of experience), we aim to create a brave space in which we can: -Descend, to include deeper layers of body, psyche, soul, and imagination -Tenderize, through conscious contact with impermanence and emergence -Become fertile ecosystems to magnetize inspiration and ideas -Recognize that wounds and challenges are entwined with deepest gifts -Transform internal leadership from conditioned tyranny to wakeful sovereignty -Track creative aliveness and use it as a compass for choice making We engage myriad practices such as conversation in big and small groups, improvisational movement, free writing, meditation and visualization, deep rest and daydreaming, games, and visual art in order to access multiple perspectives and our multidimensional nature as creative beings. Throughout, we weave in awareness practices as refuge. This way, all processes of creation, preservation, refinement, and destruction have an open space of mind in which to occur.
