Coming to terms with the facts of the global climate crisis can elicit a complicated response, desire to act, and feelings of overwhelm and paralysis. This session, with performance artist and climate activist Rosy Pendlebaby, explores how an embodied, theatrical approach can be used to illuminate the crisis through performative protests, to help process our feelings, resource us, build our resilience, and to deepen our feeling of connection to ourselves, each other, and the earth. Through some gentle movement, discussion of Rosy's own work in this field as a founding performer of the now global artivist phenomena, The Red Rebel Brigade, along with lots of handy tips and practical advice, this session aims to inspire and empower you to venture into the world of Embodied Eco-Activism, in love and service to this planet and all life upon it.
