Somatic-Expressive Research Practices with Nature.
This panel discussion features 3 artists who, thanks to Adrian Harris, have recently begun a fruitful dialogue about their practices of creating art in and with nature. The discussion will explore the merging of somatics, art and nature as foundations for creative process. Some questions will be: how is imagination an embodied practice with nature? What does it mean to be a somatic artist? What are the different ways you choose to embody throughout your creative research with the land? Each artist will share a five minute excerpt of their work.
