In this session, Jessica will share about her work teaching mindfulness to adolescents and training embodied mindfulness teachers for high school and college programs. She will highlight why contemplative skills and practices are invaluable during the teenage years and especially given current global trends of technology, social media, environmental crisis and social uprising; all topics that are particularly important for teenagers. Her online and on
retreat programs incorporate explorations of nature, ethics and identity and emphasize relational mindfulness, somatic awareness and play. During this workshop, Jessica will demonstrate engaging mindfulness activities for working with youth.
