Accessing layers of consciousness through body-based perception
"We are living systems; we are made up of living systems; we participate in living systems. Our social interactions are simultaneously physical, emotional, and spiritual expressions of ecologic inter-being. Our traumas are rarely just our own, and they are both created and healed in communion with each other. Somatic body-based perception and action give access to layers of consciousness—including communal layers—that easily evade the logic of everyday thinking. BraveSpace is a container to move, witness, and invite healing together. In this BraveSpace workshop we will look at principles and tools to generate the consent and consensus necessary to courageously take the risk of vulnerability. Participants will benefit from having some space to move, especially on the ground, if at all possible. Witnessing others in motion is also sufficient participation for attendance."
