A Welcoming Practice
Intermediate understanding
Some standing/ movement
Likely neutral
Some meditation and some gentle movement exploration. We start with a meditation that invites us to gently pour our awareness in our physical form and shape and experience the body as a whole. We welcome all that is experienced from this embodied presence. It is not an experience that determines our happiness, but the degree that we can be present with what we are experiencing. With welcoming comes the ability to consciously show up for what is present, pleasant, unpleasant or neutral. So we really learn to stay. We can be here. And as we do, we start discovering a growing sense of sacred presence. It is an act of love to welcome everything and push away nothing. This Openness can be the basis of a skilful response to life.
