An actor’s greatest gift is to know different ways of doing the same thing. You could think of a character as a particular way of standing, walking, sitting down and getting up.
This lesson devised by Moshe Feldenkrais will require you to sit on a flat, non-cushioned chair (so that you can feel your sit bones). It will explore the action of looking behind you. Through a structured exploration you will learn just how much of yourself is involved in this simple activity. There will be a short commentary at the end of the lesson explaining some of the subtleties of Feldenkrais’ method.
