How personal story, with its emphasis on event and image, can build meaning and connection, especially in a time of crisis
To combat the sense of isolation and confusion made by times like ours, simply sharing personal stories can build meaning and connection, especially when we embody them as part of the reflection. In this session, which will be experiential as well as informational, the founder will present two related approaches--Playback Theatre and the Listening Hour--and explain their world-wide appeal for building resilience. These approaches have particular utility where conventional psychotherapy is unavailable.
