Jade Angelica
Founder and Director of Healing Moments for Alzheimer’s. Offering presentations and workshops for professional and family caregivers since 2007.
Dr. Jade Angelica is an author, spiritual director, and improvisation practitioner specializing in compassionate Alzheimer’s programming that has been described as “consciousness-raising and world-view shifting,” offering “novel strategies that really work!”
A pioneer in the field, Jade discovered the healing power of improvisation during her own experience of trauma recovery, and then implemented these ideas in the context of caring for her mother, Jeanne, and others living with Alzheimer’s. The results were life-transforming and are documented in her book, Where Two Worlds Touch: A Spiritual Journey Through Alzheimer’s Disease.
A graduate of Harvard Divinity School and ImprovBoston University, Jade combines Spirit and Art in a way that engages minds, hearts, and bodies toward healing a disease that cannot be cured.
