An inquiry into the self-parts did we disown, deny and repress in order to belong
Healing Inter-generational Trauma - An embodied Shadow Work Journey Did you ever feel that there is something shameful, even monstrous, something best hidden in the shadowy recesses inside you? Does it feel like you need to know what face you should present to society and your family? What self-parts did you disown, deny and repress in order to belong? How does this unconscious choice affect your relationships, your expression, your freedom of being and even your business success? These are the questions that will begin our exploration into the Shadow which is the sum of everything we have disowned. The Shadow is shaped by trauma, sometimes our own but most often, the trauma and difficult times of our ancestors. In this session, we will learn how the shadow is shaped, and how it affects our life. The session will include a guided structure in which we will explore one of our Shadow aspects and offer a healing movement to its inter-generational roots.
