Embodied Sovereignty

Do you ever find it hard to say no or to ask for what you really want? You're not alone! As humans we are caught between our two fundamental needs: attachment to others and authenticity. We learn as babies to favour attachment for our safety and be wary of rejection. The child in us needs attachment whilst the adult needs authenticity to survive and thrive. Often this struggle makes it harder for us to set healthy boundaries. In this session we will explore an embodied sense of personal Sovereignty and the vitality and vulnerability in expressing ourselves authentically. We will look at saying no as a loving act for ourselves and others, at being in touch with our needs and desires so we can move towards them, and at the relaxed confidence it takes to wear our inner crowns whilst maintaining a compassionate connection to the world.
