In this session, Art Psychotherapist Lama Majaj will present The Embodied Art Therapy Process (TEATP); a model that focuses on the co-creation of embodied artistic expressions to promote self-awareness and autonomy for children. TEATP regards the body as a bi-directional connector to inner and outer self-awareness, attending to the whole person through deliberate and constructive explorations of breath, posture, movement, and the arts. A case study describes how TEATP was implemented to support a child's awareness of her own body, voice, and choice. You will experience a guided somatic and art-making meditation from her book Embodied Intelligence; available to all participants after the session.
All Coaching & Therapy presentations proudly sponsored by Dylan Newcomb and Uzazu Embodied Intelligence.
