Bring some writing you’d like to make progress with to this practical session! Based on the somatic map of the four elements of Earth, Water, Fire and Air, you get to activate different ways of being with your writing, then choose the most promising way to proceed. The underlying principle is that the way you habitually approach and feel about your writing is practised in and through the body; so you can influence your writing through influencing how you carry ourselves and how you move. Useful for working with stuckness, distractedness and other everyday writers’ ailments.
The session includes whole-body movement that is ideally done standing but can also be done sitting. It also includes some time for you to put the approach into practice in your own writing.
