Sara’s transformative experiences and original teaching method have made her a leader in the sound bath movement, helping deep listening and sound meditation go mainstream.
Recognized as a top meditation expert by Oprah Magazine, she has also been featured in print, online, and on television, including Billboard, TIME Magazine, The New York Times, VICE, and Vogue.
At its core, Sara’s work explores how sound and listening transform space – both physically and psychologically – for the purpose of creating connection and healing. She has curated intimate events in public schools, hospitals, boardrooms, nonprofits, and has guided large-scale mass meditations at iconic sites like MoMA, Lincoln Center, Central Park SummerStage and Madison Square Garden.
Sara has built an international following by offering sound baths at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, partnering on events with Sonos in London and Nike in Amsterdam, and facilitating retreats in Italy and Morocco. As a leading voice in the health and wellness space, she has taught immersive workshops and certificate training at New York University, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, The New York Open Center, and the Rubin Museum.
Sara shares her journey and expertise as a facilitator and advisor, collaborating with high-touch, global brands like Google, American Express, Apple and Microsoft. Her first book, SOUND BATH: Meditate, Heal and Connect through Listening, an unprecedented and comprehensive guide to sound baths, was published in November 2019 by Simon & Schuster.
Most recently, Sara has been leading the development of new experiences at the intersection of sound, meditation and technology, partnering with Audible to release a series of sound bath recordings designed specifically to help listeners access deep and restful sleep.
