She has served as editor-in-chief of Yoga International and Natural Solutions magazines and managing editor/acting editor of Yoga Journal. She has lent her writing and editing skills to a variety of book projects and has authored six books of her own including the award-winning Yoga At Home: Inspiration for Creating Your Own Personal Practice; A Woman’s Book of Yoga and Health: A Lifelong Guide to Wellness (with Patricia Walden); and Yoga: A Yoga Journal Book, a coffee table book which chronicles the history of yoga and showcases more than 350 photographs of awe-inspiring yoga poses (by David Martinez). Currently, she helps other authors bring their voices out into the world. Linda is on the advisory board of the Yoga and Body Image Coalition and has contributed the leading chapter to Yoga and Body Image and the foreword to Yoga and Eating Disorders. Her talks and practices appear on yogaanytime.com, as well as in audio and video interviews online. She is featured in the films Yoga Woman and What Is Real? a film about Jivamukti Yoga. Outside the office, Linda has continued her commitment to holistic health. She co-founded the Courageous Women, Fearless Living retreats for women with cancer and she leads workshops for yoga teachers on how to teach women who are going through physical or emotional difficulties.
