Karin van Maanen

Karin is a Yoga and Meditation teacher with a MSc in Mindfulness Studies and Tibetan Buddhism practitioner.

Karin has been teaching yoga and compassion-based mindfulness full-time since 2008. She delivers yoga teacher training courses and is a certified Embodied Yoga Principles teacher trainer. She is an Assistant Trainer on The Embodied Facilitator Course. She also has a background in community arts and works as a storyteller, often combining a range of embodied and creative approaches to support the personal and professional development of the people she works with. Influences on her yoga teaching include Scaravelli-inspired yoga, mindfulness, Feldenkrais and Tibetan Yoga. Karin also has an MSc in Mindfulness Studies, teaches meditation and has studied and practised Tibetan Buddhism extensively for 12 years.
