Jan Mundo helps people unwind their headaches, migraines, and trauma with somatic coaching and bodywork and mind-body practices. She has been relieving headaches and migraine for fifty years with a biofeedback touch therapy she developed that works directly on the head with the sensations of pain. In 1992, she developed a somatic self-care program that she's taught at medical centers, universities, and corporations, including Kaiser Permanente, UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, Stanford University, and Apple. A certified Master Somatic Coach and massage therapist, her work empowers clients to take charge of their own health and unwind their embodied trauma, which often underlies chronic pain and migraine syndromes, and keeps people stuck from moving forward in their lives. Jan's book, The Headache Healer's Handbook, teaches her comprehensive program to headache sufferers (2018, New World Library), and her life story is featured in the documentary film American Commune (2013).
