Heidi is passionate about making the benefits of Kundalini-Yoga accessible to a broad range of participants through a modern approach to this traditional yoga school. After having started to sprinkle elements of Embodied Yoga Principles into her classes, Heidi saw the effects of both techniques reinforcing each other. She now systematically complements the purposeful Kundalini Kriyas with embodiment techniques to offer deep insight as well as mobilising energy that allows for longer-lasting change. ""My embodiment journey took me from expressing myself in music, learning Taiqiquan as a student in China, savouring the liberating energy of Improvisation Theater, to falling forever in love with Argentine Tango. Despite all these passions, my life was focused on brain-dominated topics, learning six languages, following an ambitious career path, hopping through many cultures in multiple years of business travels and having lived in 5 countries. It was only after my body sent me a clear stop-signal, I started to take self-care seriously. During an insightful silence-meditation-retreat in India, I found Yoga to be the best tool to achieve piece within. Only a few months later, I started my teacher course in 2014 with Tomas Frankell in Stockholm to become a Kundalini Yoga teacher (Swedish Livsyoga). Still focused on leading a very down-to-earth life, (and not teaching yoga only wearing white), I found the missing puzzle piece a few years later in Embodied Yoga Principles: equally empowering as Kundalini Yoga, it offers concrete immediate insights and a practical and accessible pathway to make a difference to your life in the long term.
