Dr. Roni Zohar
Dr. Roni Zohar (PhD) is a scientist (Embodiment of Learning), lecturer, creator, dance and improvisation teacher. She believes that movement can promote learning in any field and especially science.

She holds a M.Sc. in Neurobiology from the Hebrew university of Jerusalem which deal on motor control and a B.Sc. in physics, combined with studies in the Department of Movement at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Dr. Zohar did her Ph.D. in the Department of Science Teaching at the
Weizmann Institute of Science, looking at movements as a door for learning physics concepts, as part of integrating embodied pedagogy in teaching. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral fellow at Prof. Ehud Ahissar's lab in the Department of Neuroscience at the Weizmann Institute of Science (Rehovot, Israel), where she studies embodied cognition through focusing on eye tracking during embodied
learning. In addition, Dr. Zohar is a dance and improvisation teacher.
She has interests in connecting art and science. Her video-dance

As part of her pedagogical activities, Dr. Zohar teaches academic courses in Movement, science and learning and trains science teachers in embodied pedagogy.
