How can we create spaces of nonjudgmental approaches to movement, where we
are mindful of our practice, bodies, minds and each other and allow space
for the experience to unfold?
This talk will be based on reflections on how to create a learning
environment that allows for creativity and freedom to expand and gives
place for transformation when we shifts focus from a performance or growth-oriented practice into an experience oriented approach. it will be building on knowledge from peadagogical and educational science.
We will reflect on how to engage mindful and playful in relation to our
practice and how to bring it into our teaching. I will share my experience and research on how we as teachers create safe rooms for transformation and learning. I will share my experience on how our teaching can allow people to stay in contact with them self and to journey from there.
What happens when we let go of judgement? How do we teach listening from within the body and why is this relevant? What can it bring to our lives?
*Be curious towards the movement*
*Don’t judge*
*Don’t observe the mover but observe the movements*
*Say yes to the movement before you know what it is*
*Don’t own the moves, it’s something of itself*
*You are not the movements*
*Be a body*
