Patrick Curry is a Canadian-born writer and scholar living in London.

Patrick Curry holds a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from University College London and has been a Lecturer at the University of Kent and Bath Spa University. He remains a Tutor at the University of Wales Trinity St David. He is the author of Enchantment: Wonder in Modern Life (Floris Books, 2019), Ecological Ethics: An Introduction, rev. edn (Polity Press, 2017), Deep Roots in a Time of Frost: Essays on Tolkien (Walking Tree Books, 2014), Defending Middle-Earth: Tolkien, Myth and Modernity, rev. edn (Houghton Mifflin, 2004), and Astrology, Science and Culture, with Roy Willis (Berg, 2004). He is also the editor of Divination: Perspectives for a New Millennium (Ashgate, 2010), Seeing with Different Eyes: Essays on Astrology and Divination, with Angela Voss (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2008), and Sky and Psyche: The Relationship between Cosmos and Consciousness, with Nicholas Campion (Floris Books, 2006).
