Jacqlin Richards at Your Parent Journey Aka The FREEDOM Finder for Parents, Jacqlin is a Mother of 2, a Parent Empowerment Mentor, Speaker and Facilitator who is deeply passionate about bringing greater awareness to the way we raise our children. Raising empowered children takes empowered Parents and Jacqlin loves to walk alongside Men and Women as they empower themselves through her Mentorship and Programs into a very different way of being a Parent. In her work she loves to weave parts of her own unique journey and offer her unique skills to help parents lift out of the 5 ‘parent traps’ that we unconsciously nose-dive into when we become parents. The #weparentfromthepast trap is the most significant of the auto-pilot traps that she has seen totally hijack parents during her 7 years of working with Mums and Dads. Jacqlin loves to empower them as parents to stop repeating how their parents did it (or the reaction to it) and into a different way of parenting. As she says: When we become Parents, we turn into our Parents! Or a reaction to them! And it’s not our fault. It’s simply the cycles from the past! She empowers Men and Women to create more freedom, fun and funk for themselves in their lives as Parents. To invite them out of their parent ‘funk’, she found her own FUNK by using her 3 F’s for Parenting strategy to step into her own authentic way of being a parent. A way that has more fun, more humour, ease, grace and joy by stepping into the empowered parent she wanted to be. To create the life she wanted while being a parent. She now invites men and women in their lives as parents to do the same.
