She has been a committed yoga and meditation practitioner since the 90s, and is also an author. Her debut book is Finding Peace in Difficult Times (published by Watkins); a practical and compassionate guide to everyday practices for inner calm.
Divya is a Senior Accredited (1000+hrs Yoga Alliance) Yoga Teacher, and a professionally trained Mindfulness Facilitator (with MIND - the UK's leading mental health charity). She specialises in teaching Yoga from a Yin, Restorative and Hatha perspective, finding power and support in classical Indian yoga teachings, Chinese wellbeing philosophy, and modern day psychology.
She is London-based, while also having a global outlook on life and the world. Similarly, while keen on helping us as individuals find calm and wellbeing, she has one eye to the bigger picture as to why we do these practices and how they can help the way we live in the modern world today.
