Queer nonbinary dance practitioner and performance artist, a scholar, an activist and the founder of Telaboratoria, dance program for LGBTQ youth in Russia
Dasha Che is a transnational Russian-American gender nonbinary artist and the founder of Telaboratoria – a dance and theater improvisation program for the LGBTQ+ communities of Russia, Eastern Europe. Dasha has worked as a teaching artist for the last several years. Currently, Dasha explores queer, ‘undercommons,’ and other-than-humans’ corporeal memory, estrangement and foreignness through reading philosophy, teaching workshops, wandering around, making films, writing scores and making solo and collaborative performance work while completing their MA at Theater Academy at Uniarts of Helsinki, Finland in Live Arts and Performance Studies.
