I have been a partner dancer for over 25 years; first Salsa then Tango. I have also practiced mindfulness meditation throughout that time. I didn't connect these two parts of my life until I came across the Embodiment Conference, when I realised that partner dance and mindfulness practice can be complimentary activities. Tango can be approached as a walking meditation that brings attention to ourselves and our partners. Dancing Tango can improve our interpersonal relationships and help forge a deeper connection with ourselves and others.
