Charlene Spretnak is a cultural historian and ecophilosopher. She is a cofounder of the Green Party in the US and of two branches of the feminist movement: ecofeminism and women's spirituality. She is the author of 8 books: Lost Goddesses of Early Greece, Green Politics, The Spiritual Dimension of Green Politics, States of Grace (chapter on "Embracing the Body"), The Resurgence of the Real, Missing Mary (chapter on "Her Mystical Body of Grace"), Relational Reality, and The Spiritual Dynamic in Modern Art. She also author of the article "Radical Nonduality in Ecofeminist Philosophy" and edited an anthology: The Politics of Women's Spirituality (which includes her concept of body parables). All of her books are concerned with dynamic interrelatedness, with the embedded embodiment of all beings. She lives in Ojai, California, with her husband.
