Therapist, lecturer and facilitator in the field of Queerbodiment - LGBTQ Embodiment, founder of AGAM center for Queerbodiment and LGBTQ Positive Sexuality

I am an Embodiment Therapist, a lecturer and a facilitator, focusing mainly on the LGBTQ physical-emotional-sexual experience of life. Founder of AGAM (which in Hebrew is an abbreviation for Embodiment, Pride and Sexuality): School for professional training in Queerbodiment and LGBTQ Positive Sexuality, and Center for therapy and workshops for the LGBTQ community. In my work I utilize different tools and knowledge from Body Psychotherapy and western Psychotherapy, Positive Sexuality, Yoga Therapy, EYP (Embodied Yoga Principles), Intuitive Movement, Mindfulness, Guided Meditations, Breathing Techniques, Projective Techniques and Self and Spiritual Development. Much of what I teach and counsel stems from my own personal journey as a queer lesbian woman, living life deeply connected to my embodied experience and gendered sexual identity. My gayness and queerness manifest within and throughout all levels of my existence: body, mind, energy, sexuality, psyche, spirit and soul. Queerbodiment and the healing aspects of queerness are how I experience life, and therein lies the core of my professional knowledge. Queerbodiment is a new field of embodied therapy in the world. My calling is to form it into a holistic method of therapeutic knowledge and tools; to bring the LGBTQ issues to the Embodiment field, and to bring Embodiment to the LGBTQ community. The workshop I will present in the conference on Queerbodiment, together with Moran Bodner, is an introduction to our Queerbodiment workshop series, which will delve into the many physical and emotional aspects of the LGBTQ community. We will explore themes such as: gender, sexuality, “the closet”, social exclusion, pride and more. This introductory workshop was last presented at the Israeli Embodiment Conference. Besides this series, I am soon to hold many other workshops for the LGBTQ community, in collaboration with other LGBTQ therapists and facilitators - both in Israel and abroad. I have also had the privilege to be on the production team of the Israeli Embodiment Conference (held in the beginning of September 2020), with 2,800 registered attendees.
